The Cabin is where Brodies truly started to put down roots.

Set within Gorsedd Gardens in Cardiff, our little blue cabin, wrapped in festoon lights, began life as a former park keeper’s hut and became our first permanent home in 2016. It wasn’t polished and it wasn’t easy, but it felt right from day one.
Small but mighty, The Cabin has always been about great coffee, showing up consistently, and welcoming people exactly as they are. Rain, sun, wind or snow, you’ll find us open; lights on, coffee flowing, and a familiar face behind the bar.

What's on the menu?

From the little shed that could, we aim to have something for everyone.
Beverages & Brews:
A full espresso menu using our own locally roasted speciality coffee.
Iced drink options.
Seasonal filter coffee.
A rotating range of specials that change with the seasons.
Soft drinks all year round and our standout homemade lemonade which is available in the warmer months.
Cakes and Bakes:
Our iconic Biscoff banana bread has been a cult classic with locals for years, sitting alongside decadent brownies, blondies, and flapjacks — many of which are vegan.
Savoury & Lunchtime Options:
We serve breakfast bagels to start the day right, along with simple toasties available throughout the day - perfect to eat on the run or enjoyed in our sun-trap seating area.

We've proudly offered a student discount for many years, encouraging our academic neighbours away from the larger chain shops.
Loyalty Card Scheme
We run an old school loyalty card scheme that can be used across all three of our venues, with every 10th drink entirely on us as a thank you for your support.

Known as the "spiritual home of Welsh rugby," the Principality Stadium hosts major events and offers behind the scenes tours of its retractable-roof facility. On match days a "carnival-style" atmosphere is enjoyed throughout the city.

Cardiff Bay has been transformed from a busy coal port into a cultural hub featuring the Wales Millennium Centre, The Senedd (Welsh Parliament), and the Techniquest science centre. Hop aboard the Princess Katherine boat for a unique way to travel between the city (Bute Park) and the waterfront (Cardiff Bay).

Over the years, we’ve watched generations of students pass through; from freshers finding their feet to graduates celebrating the end of an era.
We're open seven days a week, 52 weeks a year (with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day).
